SkyNRG has secured financial close for its first dedicated sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) facility, clearing the way for construction to begin at the Delfzijl chemical park in northern Netherlands.
The greenfield project, known as DSL-01, marks a strategic shift for the company from fuel sourcing and distribution into owning and operating large-scale production assets.
Once operational, the plant is expected to supply around 100,000 tons of sustainable aviation fuel annually, alongside roughly 35,000 tons of renewable by-products such as biobased propane, butane and naphtha.
