Vueling and Foment del Treball have agreed to promote the use of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) with the aim of moving towards the decarbonisation of air transport.

Vueling will calculate the emissions of Foment del Treball employees and managers produced by their air travel and subsequently supply the equivalent amount of SAF to the airport network in Spain.

Vueling continues to make progress in increasing the volumes supplied so that, together with the IAG group, 10% of total fuel consumption is achieved by 2030, practically double what the European Union requires.
