As many as 97 per cent of all Nordic citizens are familiar with the Nordic Swan, which is the Nordic Swan’s official eco-label and was established in 1989 by the Nordic Council of Ministers. Since then, everything from detergent to funds, houses, hotels, toys, makeup, clothes and much more has been reviewed and in some cases deemed to be able to achieve a Nordic Swan Ecolabel. This means that they have less impact on the environment than equivalent non-labelled products.
