Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 team delivers landmark sustainability milestones in 2025 season

Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team achieved significant sustainability progress during the 2025 season, reinforcing its ambition to become one of the world’s most sustainable professional sports teams.

Away from the circuit, sustainability gains were impactful. Team members at Brackley in the UK reduced commuting by approximately 360,000 miles through an internal car-sharing initiative, equivalent to 99,000 laps of Silverstone Circuit.

Logistics operations also took a major step forward. The team transported its W16 race cars to the Dutch Grand Prix using an all-electric Mercedes-Benz eActros 600, becoming the first Formula One team to move its race cars to a European event using electric power.
